Biography: Luo Liuning is Director of the Ethnic Theory and Policy Research Department at Guangxi Ethnic Theory and Policy Research Institute (Guangxi Ethnic Studies Center), and Associate Editor ofJournal of Guangxi Ethnic Studies.
Her research focuses on sociology, anthropology, Marxist ethnic theories and the ethnic policies of the Communist Party of China.
She has presided over and completed 2 National Social Science Fund projects such asAn Empirical Study on the Special Needs of Transnational Ethnic Groups on the China-Vietnam Border, 3 provincial and ministerial social science fund projects, and more than 10 departmental and bureau-level social science projects. She has published over 40 academic papers in well-known journals includingJournal of South-Central Minzu UniversityandJournal of Guangxi University.
Her research achievements have won multiple provincial and ministerial social science awards, and her policy consulting reports have received positive instructions from major provincial and ministerial leaders on many occasions.
