Biography: Wang Rui is a Professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of History at East China Normal University. He has been selected as a "Lantai Young Scholar" by the Chinese Academy of History and a talent of Shanghai's "Dawn Program".
He has published dozens of academic papers in journals includingHistorical Research, Philosophical Researches, Chinese Journal of Political Science, Studies in Historical Theory, andOpen Times. His main research areas cover modern Chinese intellectual history, academic history, and political history.
