On May 17, 2025, the School of Marxism held a thematic study activity for graduate students in Room 408 titled "Sailing with Integrity in the New Era, Building Dreams with Purity in Youth." This event was orchestrated to champion a culture of rectitude and guide young scholars in establishing sound moral compasses aligned with the demands of the new era. By fostering a heightened awareness of self-discipline, the program aimed to mobilize "youth power" in the broader effort to build a clean and honest society. The session was hosted by Zhang Liyun, a graduate student from the Class of 2024, and was attended by a highly engaged student audience.
The academic portion of the event featured contributions from faculty and student leaders, beginning with Ms. Ren Tianyu, who emphasized the indispensable nature of integrity and encouraged students to mirror these values in their work and studies. Xia Lijie, head of the Hongyan Presentation Group, followed with an analytical breakdown of Party discipline, state laws, and clean governance guidelines. The atmosphere turned dynamic during the interactive segments, starting with a knowledge competition where students divided into ten teams to race through questions on legal frameworks, historical parables of honesty, and current affairs. This spirit of healthy competition was further enriched by a showcase of twelve integrity-themed videos. The student creators shared their artistic visions and messaging strategies, illustrating how creative media can effectively broaden the reach of ethical education.
By the conclusion of the event, the "education through entertainment" approach had effectively rooted the concepts of probity in the minds of the participants. Students remarked that the activity served as a vital turning point, inspiring them to consciously practice self-discipline in their future endeavors.
