Biography: Ding Junping is a professor and doctoral supervisor, a Distinguished Teacher of the National "Ten Thousand Talents Program", and a Luojia Distinguished Scholar. Her main research focuses on the ideological theories of the CPC, as well as Marxist Party doctrine and Party building.

She is a key member of the writing groups for several key textbooks of the National Marxist Theory Research and Construction Project, an evaluation expert for the National Philosophy and Social Sciences Fund, and a member of the Social Sciences Committee of the Ministry of Education. She is also a member of the Publicity Group of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee and a specially invited researcher of the National Party Building Research Association.

She once served concurrently as Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Political Science and Public Administration and Dean of the School of Political Science and Public Administration at Wuhan University.

Prof. Ding has presided over a number of major projects of the National Social Science Fund and dozens of other research projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level. She has published more than 300 academic papers, over 50 of which have been reprinted in full by journals such asInformation Center for Social Sciences of Renmin University of China. She has authored more than 20 academic works (including sole authorship, co-authorship and chief editorship) and edited or participated in compiling more than 30 textbooks of various kinds. She has won numerous awards, including one first prize and two second prizes for Outstanding Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences in Chinese Universities, the National Distinguished Teacher Award, and the First Prize of the National Excellent Teacher Award for College Ideological and Political Courses, along with more than ten teaching and research awards in Hubei Province. She has also been honored as an Outstanding Young and Middleaged Expert with Distinguished Contributions in Hubei Province.
