Biography: Luo Yuting is Dean of the Institute of Ideological and Political Education, Professor at the School of Marxism and Luojia Distinguished Scholar of Wuhan University. He is a Chief Expert of the National Marxist Theory Research and Construction Project, Convener of the Disciplinary Appraisal Panel of the State Council, Expert of the National Social Science Fund Disciplinary Review Group, Recipient of the Special Government Allowance of the State Council, Deputy Director of the Steering Committee for Marxist Theory Education of the Ministry of Education, Member of the Advisory Committee for Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education, Vice President of the Chinese Marx and Engels Research Association, Vice Chairman of the Committee on Ideological and Moral Construction of the China Education Development Strategy Association, and Deputy Director of the Academic Committee of the Research Society for Ideological and Political Education in Chinese Universities.
He has presided over more than ten major research projects of the National Social Science Fund and the Ministry of Education, as well as other provincial and ministerial-level research projects. He is the sole author or chief editor of more than 20 monographs and textbooks. He has published over 260 academic papers in authoritative and core journals such asSocial Sciences in China,Studies on MarxismandEducational Research, more than 80 of which have been reprinted byXinhua Digest, Abstracts of China Social SciencesandInformation Center for Social Sciences of Renmin University of China.
He has received 8 provincial and ministerial-level awards for outstanding achievements in social sciences and teaching, including 3 first prizes.
