Biography: Professor Vesselin Petrov holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and a PhD in Philosophy of Science. A renowned Bulgarian philosopher, he is Director of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Executive Chair of the International Process Network, and Editor-in-Chief of the international journalBalkan Journal of Philosophy.
With solid scientific expertise, his main research fields include process philosophy, ecological civilization, organic ontology, applied ontology, philosophy of science and philosophy of mathematics. He has published more than 120 academic papers in Bulgarian, English, Russian and Chinese. He has authored four books in Bulgarian and edited 20 volumes in Bulgarian and English.
