Biography: Hao Yongping is a native of Wuchuan County, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. He earned his PhD in Philosophy from Nankai University. Currently, he is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee (National Academy of Governance), having served as Deputy Director of the Scientific Research Department, Director of the Library, Director of the Research Office, and Deputy Secretary-General of the institution. He concurrently serves as Vice President of the Chinese Association of Dialectical Materialism Studies.
His research focuses on Marxist philosophy, the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
Professor Hao has published 270 academic and theoretical articles in journals such asQiushi Journal, People's Daily, Guangming Daily, Economic Daily, Study Times, Supervision by the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, Philosophical Trends, Teaching and Research, Studies on Marxism, andJournal of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee. Many of his papers have been fully reprinted or abstracted byXinhua Digest, Guangming Daily, Academic Abstracts of Higher Education Journals,andInformation Center for Social Sciences, Renmin University of China.
He has authored 10 monographs and co-authored over 20 books. Since 2017, his works published by People's Publishing House includeThe World for the Public Good: The Communist Party of China and Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, Great Struggles and the Mission and Responsibility of Communists in the New Era, andGreat Dreams and the Founding, Development and Strengthening of the Party. He has also publishedNew EndeavorsandUnderstanding the Path to Successwith People's Daily Press. He has contributed to compiling key textbooks and works such asWestern Philosophy(a university liberal arts textbook under the Marxist Theory Research and Construction Project),New Popular Philosophy, andBasic Issues of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
