Biography: Zhou Wen is a Distinguished Professor and doctoral supervisor at Fudan University. He serves as Vice President of Fudan University's Institute of Marxism, Director of the Research Center for Sinicization of Marxist Economics, and Deputy Director of the Discipline Development Center for Marxist Theory.

He is Chief Expert for two major university programs:Research on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New EraandResearch on Contemporary Chinese Marxist Theory. He also serves as Chief Expert for major projects funded by the National Social Science Fund and the Ministry of Education. His accolades include the Liu Shibai Economics Award and the Outstanding Achievement Award in Humanities and Social Sciences from the Ministry of Education.

Prof. Zhou holds key academic positions: Vice President of the Chinese Political Economy Society, Director of the Virtual Teaching and Research Office for New Structural Political Economics under the Ministry's 101 Program, and Distinguished Research Fellow at the Research Center for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. He is a key member of the national textbook writing groups forAn Introduction to Xi Jinping's Economic ThoughtandLectures on Xi Jinping's Economic Thought. He also serves on the editorial boards of over a dozen academic journals.

His research focuses on contemporary Chinese Marxist political economy and political economy of socialism with Chinese characteristics. He has published over 400 papers in top journals such asSocial Sciences in China, Economic Research Journal, andManagement World, as well as inPeople's Daily, Guangming Daily, andEconomic Daily.

In the past five years, he has authored over 20 monographs, includingThe Chinese Era of Economics, Studies on Contemporary Chinese Marxist Political Economy, andStudies on Political Economy of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. Many of his works have been selected for national translation projects such as theSilk Road Book Projectand translated into English, German, Spanish, Korean, and Turkish by international publishers, distributed in over 70 countries, and widely cited by scholars worldwide.
