Biography:Yang Yang is Associate Professor of Medical Ethics at Dalian Medical University and Deputy Director of its Library. She formerly served as Deputy President of the Journal Press of Dalian Medical University and Editorial Director ofMedicine and Philosophy. She was a visiting scholar at the University of Otago, New Zealand, and a Fogarty Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh, USA.
She currently serves as Member and Head of the International Exchange Group of the Medical Ethics Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Standing Director of the Medical Ethics Branch of the Liaoning Medical Association, Member of the Humanistic Medicine Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and Director of the Chinese Society for Dialectics of Nature.
She has presided over the National Social Science Fund project and multiple provincial and ministerial research projects, and contributed to several national planning textbooks includingMedical EthicsandDoctor-Patient Communication. Her main research fields include medical ethics, scientific and technological ethics, and philosophy of technology.
