(The Third Historical Resolution is the abbreviation of “the Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party over the Past Century”.)
Dr. Lu Xudong first opened the lecture with the short story of Mao Tse Tun's interview with Li Zongren, then briefly introduced the three Resolutions since the establishment of the CPC(The Communist Party of China). After that, he focused on the explanation of The Third Historical Resolution from its time background, adhering to the historical materialism and the correct view of the history of the CPC, A Theme and Four Periods (which means that around the theme of Realizing the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation, there are several different specific tasks and achievements of the CPC during the leadership period of the four leaders.).
Finally, Dr.Lu patiently answered the students' questions about the topic,which triggered the participants' in-depth thinking on the current history and construction of the CPC, leading a heated discussion on the core content of the lecture.Dr.Lu reminded that the students from the School of Marxism should adhere to comprehending the documents of the Central Committee of the CPC regarding from correct view of the history of the CPC, in order to consciously shoulder the mission of the builders and successors to the cause of socialism.
